The Pink Bedroom

We initially painted this room an off white when we moved in, but over time it was crying out for colour, however I wanted something light. After painting a few items pink around the house, I managed to convince my husband pink was the best option, as its colourful, warm and light, everything we wanted this room to be.

Below is how the room looked when we bought the house, along with the colour change, we had wood flooring put down, new radiators and we also widening the chimney breast, could be positioned in front of it. 

The colours....

Farrow and Ball Pink Ground on the walls and Hague Blue on the chest.

​I also decided to revamp the dull brownish chest we already had in the room, we painted it blue and added new brass handles.

It has transformed the room into a warm inviting space that I would love to hang out in, if I had the time... I never felt that way when it was more neutral. This colour gives off such a comforting cosy feel!
