Sebastian's Nursery

I have always loved the feel of this room, it is very light and airy and I didn't want lose this.  So instead of a full on colour change/wallpaper etc, I chose sweet simple decor using accessories and added subtle colour accents, such as wall stickers and the yellow door to create a nursery. 

The room before...  

We had new wood flooring put down, the marble fireplace was covered in some sort of brown grime, which took  a few days of persistent scrubbing to remove. Other than that the decor was pretty straightforward. A lick of paint, some freestanding shelves between the fireplace and wall, furnishing, followed by the fun part, wall stickers and accessorizing and of course the yellow door, my favourite!
